LEGO has made five advent calendars for 2026: Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, City and Friends. LEGO’s UK price is £29.99 for the Star Wars, Marvel and Disney calendars and £22.99 for City and Friends, which works out at £1.25 or 96p a day. There is no Harry Potter calendar this year.

All five went on sale on 1 September 2026. On 27 October four of them were in stock on LEGO’s UK site. The Disney calendar was missing from LEGO’s UK advent calendar page, and the price tracker Brickfact showed it as out of stock there. Some shops were cheaper than LEGO that day. For older builders, LEGO also makes Santa’s Holiday Countdown (40874, £54.99), a buildable countdown to Christmas. Prices are LEGO’s UK prices, checked on lego.com/en-gb on 27 October 2026, unless another shop is named.

The Disney price is LEGO’s UK price as listed by Brickset, because the calendar was not on sale on LEGO’s UK site on 27 October. The price per day is the price divided by 24: LEGO’s UK pages give 24 days or 24 windows for the City, Marvel and Friends calendars.

What is inside each calendar

Star Wars (75456)

Most of the characters come from The Mandalorian. There are five minifigures (the Mandalorian, Moff Gideon, Carson Teva, a Jawa and IG-11), Grogu and a pit droid in holiday outfits, and four creatures: a Mudhorn, a Bantha, a Dewback and a Blurrg. The mini builds include seven small vehicles, among them the Razor Crest, Mando’s N-1 Starfighter, a Sandcrawler, an Outland TIE Fighter and an X-wing in festive colours (LEGO UK).

Marvel (76340)

Six minifigures, each with festive accessories: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Doctor Doom, Ghost-Spider, Captain America and Wolverine. The mini builds include a Helicarrier, an X-Jet sleigh, a helicopter, a snowball cannon and three stalls, and Wolverine’s claws make a green Christmas tree (LEGO UK). With 317 pieces, it is the largest of the five calendars.

Disney (43298)

This year’s Disney calendar is a Disney Princess one. It has small figures of Ariel, Cinderella, Moana and Mulan with their animal sidekicks, and the builds include a gingerbread castle. The box turns into a board game (Brickfact, Stonewars, TechRadar).

City (60510)

Santa, Mrs Claus, three elves and a snowman, plus a baby reindeer figure, with mini builds for Santa’s workshop. The instructions for each day’s build are printed inside its window, and the box folds out into a Santa’s Workshop playmat (LEGO UK).

Friends (42698)

Three mini-dolls, Liann, Nova and Aliya, and six animals: a seal, a pony, a weasel, a polar bear, a penguin and a bunny. Each day’s build adds to a winter scene, with snowball throwing, a sleigh ride and a snowman (LEGO UK).

Which one to choose

• For younger children: City and Disney are for ages 5 and up. The other three are for ages 6 and up.
• For the most pieces: Marvel, with 317 pieces and six minifigures.
• For the lowest price: City and Friends, at £22.99 from LEGO, or less at some shops (see “Where to buy” below).
• For Star Wars fans: five minifigures plus Grogu, and seven small vehicles.

No Harry Potter calendar in 2026

LEGO has not made a Harry Potter advent calendar for 2026, and the Minecraft calendar from 2025 has not come back either. Brickset and Jay’s Brick Blog both pointed this out when the first 2026 calendars were announced on 1 May.

For older builders: Santa’s Holiday Countdown (40874)

Santa’s Holiday Countdown is a set for ages 10 and up, with 873 pieces, at £54.99. It builds a snowy rooftop with a chimney, Santa and his sack of toys, and it counts down to Christmas with a simple drum (Brickset). It is over 20 cm high, 13 cm wide and 12 cm deep, and it has been on sale since 1 October. Unlike an advent calendar, it is a single model that you build all at once. It works out at 6.3p a piece.

Other LEGO Christmas sets for 2026

LEGO’s September press release lists seven Christmas sets, and all of them were on sale by 4 October (LEGO’s press release).

The prices were checked on LEGO’s UK site on 27 October, except for the Mrs. Claus figure, whose price comes from LEGO’s September press release.

Holiday House (11387). A snow-covered house with a wrap-around porch, a one-horse open sleigh and a Christmas tree that lights up. More about it is in our November LEGO sets guide.

Christmas Stocking (40958). A brick-built stocking decorated with holly, gold stars, candy canes and a gingerbread biscuit, with a Nutcracker minifigure. It has a hook for hanging and a stand.

Buddy the Elf (40865). A model of Buddy from the film Elf, with an Arctic puffin, candy canes and a bottle of maple syrup.

Where to buy, and when

• LEGO.com. Four calendars were in stock on 27 October, with a limit of three per customer. The Disney calendar was not on sale there that day.
• Other UK shops. On 27 October John Lewis listed the Star Wars calendar at £22.99, £7 less than LEGO, and the Friends calendar at £17.99, £5 less. Argos lists the Disney Princess and Friends calendars. Compare any price with LEGO’s price in the table above, and check that the shop itself is selling the calendar, not a marketplace seller.
• Black Friday. LEGO’s Black Friday sale runs from 27 to 30 November. Last year, none of the advent calendars was in New Elementary’s list of LEGO’s UK Black Friday discounts at the start of the sale, so a discount from LEGO itself is not certain. If you wait for the sales, order early enough for the calendar to arrive by 1 December, the first of the 24 days.

Price per day and price per piece

At LEGO’s prices the calendars cost 96p or £1.25 a day, and 9.1p to 10.9p a piece. For a calendar, the minifigures and the surprise each day matter as much as the number of pieces, so use price per piece to compare calendars with each other rather than with big sets.
